 What is Bereavement Counselling? 

 

Bereavement Counselling is aimed to help friends and close relatives to deal with loss and learn how to cope with the death of a loved one. It’s aim is to:

  • Offer an understanding of the bereavement journey.
  • Explore areas that could potentially prevent you from moving on
  • Help resolve areas of conflict still remaining
  • Help relatives and loved ones to adjust

The latest figures available from 2019-2020 show The Rosemary Foundation receivd 284 referrals, cared for 260 patients, worked 14,611 hours and our Bereavement Counsellors provided 75 hours 1:1 support.
