Where, how and why The Rosemary Foundation uses your Data
When you make an online purchase/donation or register online to participate in a fundraising event, we need to collect certain personal data.
Personal data includes your contact details, and when necessary further details such as date of birth, medical requirements (in certain circumstances) and so on.
This allows us to process your entry/payments and ensures we can contact you if there are any problems at any time. You have the option to withhold personal information that is not required for this purpose but filling in additional information can help us provide a better service. Information that is required will be clearly indicated when you go through the sign up process.
We use your personal information, such as postal address, email address and telephone number, in order to keep you informed about your donations or any fundraising event in which you are participating.
Furthermore, and only when you have given us your explicit consent to do so, we will use your personal details to send you newsletters and details of events and other fundraising initiatives. Your details will be kept on an internal database for this purpose.
We will not disclose this information to any other person or organisations except in connection with the above. Online Payments
We offer online payment processing through JustGiving.com and VirginMoneyGiving.com on certain events through the year as well as processing online donations to The Rosemary Foundations, and other payments, such as for online purchases of Christmas Cards, through PayPal. Such payments will be processed in accordance with their privacy policies, which can be seen at https://www.justgiving.com/info/privacy and https://www.paypal.com/en/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full respectively. We store in our internal Databases necessary information in order for us to process your payment. We DO NOT store your payment details in our website.
