The Rosemary Foundation was Worldham Golf Club’s Charity of the Year for 2013. Members of the club raised funds through Golf Days, social events, quizzes and raffles.
On 9th March a cheque for £5,000 was presented to Barbara Pettegree and Allison Price by Trevor Gill, the Men’s Captain for 2013. Trevor said that he and Lyn Fraser, the Ladies’ Captain, were delighted to be able to raise such a large amount, as the weather had meant it was a very challenging year for playing golf.
