The Petersfield Choir, under the direction or Steve Sargent gave their inaugural concert on 5 April in Petersfield. The range of music on a Lenten theme was extensive – from Sixteenth Century Palestrina to a 2011 version of Ave Maria. The singing, all unaccompanied, was very accomplished and the choir obviously has a fine future. Their next concert is on 5 July in Privett.
