This Monday (August 31st), Hambledon Cricket Club will be hosting the Becky Gibson Memorial Cricket Game in memory of Becky Gibson, who sadly passed away in 2016. This will be their 10 Year Anniversary!
Becky was an incredibly proud mum who enjoyed nothing more than watching all three of her children play cricket. Therefore, the Gibson family thought that this would be a great opportunity to not only celebrate what a great life Becky had but to also raise some money for a local charity that is very close to all of their hearts.
They will be raising money for The Rosemary Foundation, a charity that provides a hospice at home service intended to help patients in the latter stages of life threatening conditions.
The game will start at 1pm and is a friendly match. So, if you are at a loose end on Monday 31st August and fancy a spot of T20 cricket then the Gibson family would be delighted to welcome you to Ridge Meadow.
There will be an open bar and a raffle in a lovely setting, so please come and show your face.
