The Rosemary Foundation is a hospice at home charity providing end of life and palliative care within a 15 mile radius of Petersfield, at no cost to the patient and their family.
They are a small team of Registered Nurse and Health Care Assistants reporting to a board of trustees who go to patient homes to provide care 24/7, 365 days of the year.

How do I search for a race and connect it to The Rosemary Foundation?
You can search for an event through The Rosemary Foundation’s events calendar or directly through Run for Charity .
Run for Charity allows you to search by postcode, event name or charity. When registering, please select The Rosemary Foundation from the charity drop-down list so that your place is connected to us.
How many runners can enter an event?
Up to five people can register for an event on behalf of a chosen charity. Each runner must register individually, as entries cannot be submitted as a group.
Do I need to raise a minimum amount?
There is no compulsory minimum fundraising amount. However, we would be very grateful if you could aim to raise at least £250 for The Rosemary Foundation.
Who pays the event registration fee?
Runners are responsible for paying their own event registration fee.
How do I know that my place has been confirmed?
After paying the registration fee, you will receive an email containing a link to confirm your place. You must follow the link and complete the confirmation process; otherwise, your place will not be secured.
Please check your junk or spam folder if the confirmation email does not appear in your inbox.
What is the registration deadline?
The registration deadline is the final date on which you can register for an event. Popular events may sell out before this date, so we recommend registering as early as possible.
What is the withdrawal deadline?
The withdrawal deadline is the final date on which you can withdraw from an event and remain eligible for a refund.
What happens if I need to cancel my place?
If you cancel before the event’s withdrawal deadline, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel after the withdrawal deadline, the registration fee will remain payable. However, if Run for Charity finds a replacement runner for your place, you may receive a refund.
When can I start fundraising?
You can begin fundraising as soon as your event place has been confirmed.
We recommend creating a JustGiving fundraising page and connecting it to The Rosemary Foundation. This allows donations, including eligible Gift Aid, to be easily viewed and transferred to the charity.
What happens if an event is sold out?
If an event is sold out, please contact us and ask to be added to the waiting list. We can then contact Run for Charity to find out whether another place may become available.
Does The Rosemary Foundation have pre-booked places in races?
No. The Rosemary Foundation does not purchase places in advance. Run for Charity has an allocation of event places which is shared between participating charities.
Once this allocation is full, no additional places may be available. Popular events can sell out quickly, so please keep an eye on the website and register early.
Some popular races sell out through the event organiser or use a ballot system. Charity places may still be available through Run for Charity after the organiser’s general entries have closed.
