Even the cold snap didn’t put off the crowds joining the nurses at their Christmas Fayre. After an introduction by Chris Wilton (the Chairman of the Board of Trustees), special guest Michelle Margorian ( best known as the author of Goodnight Mister Tom) cut the tape to open this year’s Fayre. Michelle, who lives locally praised the work of The Rosemary Foundation and then visited the stalls and stall holders.
Volunteers young (and young at heart) presented their Christmas must-haves and crafts, whilst others manned the tombola and the human fruit machine!
A huge thank you to all those who helped and those who donated Raffle prizes. Santa’s elves have finished counting the proceeds, and we took an amazing £7,000 which will help us continue to provide the hospice at-home care that is valued by so many local families.
